Mental Health

With 1 in 4 people experiencing a mental health condition each year, it is no surprise that there is a move in improving individuals awareness of mental health.

Our suite of Mental Health qualifications start at level 1 with a simple half day awareness qualification; aimed at anyone who wants a better understanding of their own mental health, through to a Level 3 Award in Mental Health at Work. Each of the three qualifications builds on each other, culminating in the learner being able to undertake simple mental health conversations at work.

For those in youth settings The Level 2 Award in Awareness of Young People's Mental Health has been developed to support young people, and those that work with young people, to increase their awareness of mental health. The qualification covers a range of mental health conditions that affect young people and how these can be managed.

There is also the Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Children and Young People's Mental Health, which has been developed to support learners who are looking to develop their knowledge and understanding of a wide range of mental health conditions that young people experience. The qualification covers triggers, signs and symptoms and support available.
